The Recreation Department coordinates reservations for the city's pavilions and ball fields. This department also maintains athletic facilities including a hockey rink, basketball courts, and tennis courts.
The Great Allegheny Passage
International Village is the city of McKeesport’s annual ethnic heritage festival, featuring food, music and dance representing nationalities around the world.
Throughout the warm weather season, the City of McKeesport offers rental of the Jacob Woll Pavilion, Andrew J. Jakomas Blue-Top Pavilion, and seven outdoor pavilions for private events.

Renziehausen Park is a two hundred and five acre regional facility located within the City of McKeesport with access points along Eden Park Boulevard.
Festival of Trees
The City of McKeesport annually welcomes community groups, student organizations, churches, and local businesses to display themed evergreens at the Jacob Woll (Main) Pavilion for the Festival of Trees from the first Thursday in December through the following Monday.
