The Corner Donut Shop, 1709 Eden Park Blvd., celebrated five years in business on Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2023, with customer appreciation raffles and a free glazed donut with every purchase.

Owner Shelly Demeri opened the shop on September 18, 2018, after many years and great memories in the location’s many storefronts. She began working part time for Mister Donut as a 16-year-old McKeesport Area High School student in 1986. She remained part of the team when franchise owner Jim Edwards changed the facade to Donut Connection in 1996.
