Richard J. Dellapenna is a lifelong resident of the City of McKeesport. He graduated from McKeesport Area High School in 1991. He was inspired to run for the position of City Councilor after watching his father, the late Richard Dellapenna, dedicate his life to working as a public servant.

Rich is married to Amy Dellapenna, a teacher with the McKeesport Area School District. He has been employed with Allegheny County Emergency Services since 2001. Rich's work as a 911 dispatcher has enabled him to have first-hand experience in effectively communicating with callers, police, fire, and ambulance personnel; efficiently solving problems; and appropriately handling crisis situations. He has a strong bond with his family, and he is dedicated to publicly serving the city of McKeesport.
